Danjoo Koorliny With UWA

Updated: Jul 26, 2021

The Danjoo Koorliny team recently met with the University of Western Australia (UWA) Vice Chancellor Professor Amit Chakma to discuss how UWA and the Danjoo Koorliny project can continue walking together to better care for everything.

The Vice Chancellor is a UWA Champion for Danjoo Koorliny.

The meeting explored how we can continue to support one another as we all walk together towards the ‘state’s ‘bicentenary’ in 2029, and as the university works towards its UWA 2030 Vision and implements its Strategic Plan 2020-2025.

The Danjoo Koorliny team is currently working together with the Office of the Vice Chancellor towards a presentation of the Danjoo Koorliny project to the UWA Senate, which will most likely take place in the new year.

A meeting with the Danjoo Koorliny Ambassadors and the Vice Chancellor is also being planned.

In 2019 the Danjoo Koorliny leaders asked the Centre for Social Impact UWA to be the host organisation for the Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Project.
