Meeting with City of Perth Elders

The Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together co-directors have met with the City of Perth Elders at Council House Perth to stay connected and updated in relation to the Danjoo Koorliny project.
The Elders and co-directors spoke about the Danjoo Koorliny project, some of the goals for areas that will change between now and 2029, methods and ways of working, the important and critical role of Elders and Eldership governance, and that we are in a transition stage of new possibilities in this state.
The importance of truth-telling and national change was also discussed.
The City of Perth Elders have given keynote panel presentations as part of the Danjoo Koorliny Social Impact Summit in 2019 and again in 2020, and have been invited to all future Danjoo Koorliny events including this year’s summit in October.
Also in attendance were City of Perth staff, the Danjoo Koorliny operational team, and documentary makers working with the City of Perth Elders.
More meetings and events will be held in the future.
