In 2024 our theme was focused on culture. We celebrated the Survival, Resilience and Strength of Aboriginal people in Western Australia. We acknowledged the ancestors, the warriors, the leaders and our families that rose up in adversity.

As diverse Aboriginal peoples from various regions, our culture encompasses a rich tapestry of customs, traditions, and languages, each unique yet interconnected. While we host this event on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja in Boorloo (Perth) we celebrate our shared experiences and distinct customs. With over 500 language groups, our identity is multifaceted, rooted in the Dreaming that unites us. Across Western Australia, our communities, both urban and remote, thrive with a deep connection to land and tradition.
